Lan Kwai Fong
Lan Kwai Fong is the perfect destination for anyone who is looking to have a good time while visiting Hong Kong. Located in the center of this active metropolis, Lan Kwai Fong is a popular hangout for drinking and partying. You will see many of the city’s bars and clubs in this area. Moreover, these establishments are open until the early hours of the morning.
A word of warning to merrymakers looking to enjoy a drink or two in this area, drinking here is expensive. Although cost can vary depending on which bar or pub you go to. On average, the cost of a beer is about HKD 30 to HKD 35 during Happy Hour. But the cost skyrockets to HKD 80 outside of this time. Meanwhile, cocktails cost an additional HKD 40 or more depending on the kind and where you order it. Lan Kwai Fong promises fun for everyone who goes there. As a result, it attracts a massive crowd of partygoers. Fridays and weekend nights can be jam-packed. So you can even expect merrymakers to run over into the streets as most places here have a limited area. If you plan to visit during these days, then it is best to make a reservation ahead to make sure you and your friends have a place to sit. Then again, you could opt to go on a regular weekday for fewer people and a guaranteed seat. Lan Kwai Fong began in the eighties with the now defunct club called Disco Disco along with Club 97, which remains open to date. Over time, more pubs and clubs came up. So you have over a hundred bars, pubs, clubs, and restaurants to choose from to spend a night on the town. tips
