Luxor Hotel & Casino Complex
On the southern end of the Las Vegas Strip is the Luxor Las Vegas. This hotel and casino owned and ran by MGM, is iconic for its pyramid-shaped main tower. The hotel's namesake came from the city of Luxor, Thebes of ancient Egypt. It is also the sixth-largest hotel in Las Vegas and ninth-largest in the world. The food and other amenities on the resort are luxurious and it is expected if you are the type to stay in this magnificent hotel. Likewise, a great life-sized replica of the great temple of Ramses II is located in the lobby. Entertainment in the Luxor includes but not limited to games in the Pharaoh's Pavilion, picturesque rides, and a 7-story IMAX theater. The rooms are large, clean, quiet, comfortable and a good deal for the price. Many have given a good review on their rooms, and if you will certainly understand why once you have visited. The rooms have everything that you can think of, anything less you can always check in with the management. The staff is friendly and helpful for their guests.
