Nusa Lembongan
Nusa Lembongan is a small island off the southeast coast of Bali. This little island region is quickly becoming one of Bali's most popular attractions for good reason, this island paradise is a world away from the hassle and hectic pace of the other parts of Bali. For this reason alone, Nusa Lembongan is the new prime place for those who want to visit Bali without all the hustle and bustle that the main island commonly has.
Worry not, you will never see hawkers nor traffic in this magnificent scenery of Nusa Lembongan; this is a fine place to just put your feet up and relax – there is simply just enough traffic to go around without it becoming too overbearing. Despite that, the main activities include surfing, diving and snorkelling. The water is some of the clearest you will find anywhere, a vivid aqua blue colour that visitors always come back for again and again. Many areas of the island are prime spots for diving and snorkelling, with abundant marine life and healthy coral reefs. Surfing can get a bit crowded for some people, but the waves more than make up for it. There are several white sand beaches away from the main centres which are practically deserted. There is a flourishing and well-established seaweed farming industry here, and many visitors from all over the globe study their ways of seaweed production. The attractions here are mostly natural since there are only a few facilities. The beaches and other coastal landscapes are obviously a key draw, as are the beautiful sunsets that this island is widely known for. There are a limited number of man-made attractions, most notably temples and the rickety suspension bridge. Simply put, If you want a get away from the main island where there is still enough new things to experience then Nusa Lembongan is the place for you. TIPS
