Island-Hopping
Island-hopping in Boracay is one of the most memorable experiences you have to definitely place in your itinerary. By the use of a pump boat—Filipinos call it as “bangka,” a traditional boat moored on the shore—this thrilling activity takes you around and shows you the beautiful island of Boracay. You’d be lucky if the water currents aren’t too strong. Through island-hopping, you will be able to visit small islands nearby like the Crocodile Island, Crystal Cove, and Magic Island.
You can finish this activity within a half-day, but it is advisable to not rush and cherish the island vibe and well-protected, maintained crystal-clear waters. Island-hopping gives you a quicker experience of the island and it's already a complete package—best used in groups of friends and families. You can visit the island's beaches such as “Puka Beach” or “Iligiligan Beach” and experience snorkeling, fish-feeding, and picnics by the beach. In Puka Beach, you will be amazed with the abundant shells on its shore. You can buy handmade Puka shell accessories as well as home decors from several vendors there. You can opt for group tours where lunch and drinks are included or a private tour, if you want the boat to be enjoyed with your friends and family. (The price for the private tour may vary if lunch will be included or not.) TIPS
