White Sand Beach
It is a given that Boracay is well-known because of its beautiful, fine white sand beaches. The White Beach, one of the most attractive and popular beaches in Boracay, is an amazing stretch of white sand with the crystal-clear waters. It is also considered as the commercialized part of the island, which makes it the center that’s concentrated with hotels, restaurants, and malls.
This long beach found at the western region of Boracay is divided into three stations: Station 1, Station 2, and Station 3. Once you go further from Station 1, your feet would feel the sand becoming finer than it was. Station 1 has the widest beachfront; expensive hotels and resorts are located here, the northernmost part of the stretch. Station 1 has a lesser crowd in the morning and night time, though the beach area gets crowded by the afternoon. Most people take pictures at this time, especially because of the famous Willy's Rock Formation everyone can appreciate more when there’s sunset. Station 1 has a wider area of the sand, so most beach weddings are being held just before the beautiful sunset in Boracay Island. Shopping craze, partying scenes, eating sessions, among other island activities can be seen in Station 2. This station is also known as the most crowded part of the beach as well as the noisiest. If you want to see the bustling side of Boracay, check this station out. Station 3, the southernmost section, is the least developed area of the beach, and the prices here are the lowest. The White Beach definitely gives you a wonderful time for strolling, sunbathing, jogging, making sand castles, and having a friendly game of Frisbee, football, and volleyball. You can also book boat tours, skimboarding, and massage/spa here. TIPS
