The Ancient City
Ancient Siam is a great spot where you can actually see almost every important place both from the past and present days of Thailand. It is a 200+ acre park constructed in the shape of the country, with many stunning imitated and original attractions of the Grand Palace, Thai traditional houses, and historic temples. It is also known as the world’s largest outdoor museum. The park has 116 of Thailand’s most famous monuments and attractions all laying at their correct geographic position. Lots of the sizes of these buildings are already scaled down, but some are of actual life size. Some of these buildings are the following: Grand Palace of Ayutthaya, Wat Khao Phra Viharn, Phimai Sanctuary, Nakhon Ratchasima, among others.
If you are short on time or just staying for a few days, this is a great way to see a lot of Thailand, because this famous landmark helps travelers in getting an idea about all the monuments placed around the country as well as the culture, tradition, and history of its people. Its green landscape also gives relaxation to nature-loving people. Because it is a very vast area, touring through walking is an exhausting feat, so transportation is made available for the convenience of the visitors. TIPS
